About me
I specialize in copy-editing academic books and articles on classical music (particularly music of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries) for publishers and individual authors, and have edited and proofread material for The New Grove Dictionary of Music (second edition), other Grove music dictionaries, and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
I also proofread music, especially vocal and educational works. Since 2014 I have been based in the USA, but I continue to work mainly for British clients.
As an active musician I am a member of a symphony orchestra, a string quartet, and a choir.
I have a good working knowledge of French and German.
